Senior Medical Science Liaison – Cardiometabolic Portfolio

As a Senior Medical Science Liaison, you’ll be the trusted scientific partner for healthcare professionals, driving high-quality scientific exchange and shaping medical strategy in a rapidly evolving therapeutic landscape.

About the Role

As a senior member of the Medical team, you will lead scientific engagement across cardiometabolic chronic diseases including diabetes, obesity, CVD, MASH and CKD. You’ll work strategically with KOLs, clinicians, diabetes educators, pharmacists and academic institutions to deliver impactful scientific dialogue and gather actionable medical insights. You will also collaborate cross-functional with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Development, Market Access and regional/APAC teams to support therapeutic landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead high-quality scientific exchange with KOLs and healthcare professionals, communicating complex clinical evidence, guidelines and emerging data.
- Support medical strategy execution aligned with organisational priorities and Oceania governance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to maximise portfolio value through a scientific and patient‑centric approach.
- Deliver pre-launch and launch excellence , including scientific training, KOL mapping,



stakeholder engagement and clinical trial site support.
- Develop strategic engagement plans to build advocacy, scientific awareness and appropriate therapy use.
- Generate and translate medical insights into actionable recommendations informing evidence generation and medical strategy.
- Maintain compliant, timely documentation including CRM updates, call activities and insight reporting.

About You

You’re an experienced Pharmaceutical MSL with robust in field success, scientific credibility, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build influential relationships at national and global levels.

You will bring:

- M.D, Pharm.D or Ph.D
- Minimum 2 years’ Pharmaceutical MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated state/national/global KOL engagement
- Advanced analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent digital and face-to-face communication capability
- Ability to manage multiple demands, tight deadlines and regular travel
