An established and highly regarded Melbourne-based commercial builder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their delivery team, working across a diverse portfolio of high-quality residential, commercial, aged care and mixed-use projects . With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering well-considered, design-led projects, this is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from early delivery through to completion in a supportive but fast-moving environment. This role would suit a driven Project Manager from a Tier 1, 2 or strong Tier 3 builder who is confident managing full project lifecycles and enjoys working in a hands-on, collaborative team where quality matters.
What You'll Be Doing
- End-to-end delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to handover
- Managing program, budget, procurement and subcontractor performance
- Leading site teams and coordinating consultants, engineers and stakeholders
- Driving project outcomes across safety, quality, cost and time
- Managing client relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication
- Overseeing contract administration and variations
- Identifying risks early and implementing practical, buildable solutions
- Ensuring smooth project delivery through strong coordination between office and site
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a Tier 1, 2 or high-performing Tier 3 commercial builder
- Strong background delivering residential, mixed-use, commercial or apartment projects
- Confident managing projects from start to finish with full financial accountability
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide site teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercially astute with strong programming and reporting capability
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using construction/project management software
