The Role

An opportunity exists for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm's Financial Lines team in Brisbane.

Working closely with a highly regarded Partner and experienced Special Counsel, you will act on a broad range of professional indemnity and financial lines matters, with a particular focus on large, complex litigated disputes.

The team advises on professional negligence claims involving accountants, financial advisers, architects, engineers, construction professionals, health professionals, lawyers and other professionals, as well as D&O;, management liability, coverage and broader financial lines matters.





While previous professional indemnity or financial lines experience would be highly regarded, the team is also open to strong defendant insurance lawyers from areas such as public liability who are interested in transitioning into financial lines.

The Right Person

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

- 4+ years experience within a well-regarded defendant insurance or litigation practice.
- Strong litigation and dispute resolution experience.
- Sound technical ability, commercial judgement and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in developing your expertise across complex professional indemnity and financial lines matters.
