Maintenance Manager – Perth Based

Full-Time | Excellent Salary | Drill & Blast Operations

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee all maintenance activities for a major drill and blast contract, supporting approximately 90 operational staff. This is a critical leadership role ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance strategies across our fleet and site infrastructure. You'll manage parts and services for a range of equipment, including but not limited to Caterpillar machinery and Sandvik drill rigs, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement maintenance plans for drill and blast equipment.
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate services for Caterpillar,



Sandvik drill rigs, and other machinery.
- Maintain and utilise the MEX maintenance management system to schedule works, track asset history, and report on fleet performance.
- Lead and mentor maintenance teams to ensure secure and efficient operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with operations to align maintenance schedules with production targets.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in maintenance management within mining or civil projects.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance management experience is required.
- Proficiency in developing and optimising fleet maintenance strategies in line with OEM and industry standards.
- Strong technical knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and Sandvik drill rigs.
- Experience with the MEX maintenance management system (or similar CMMS) is highly preferred.
- Mechanical trade qualification is required for this position.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results.
- Knowledge of HSEQ standards and best practices.
- Full Australian Working rights is required for this position.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and site clearance to work in WA Gold Mining

Location: Perth-based role with occasional site travel
Salary: Attractive package commensurate with experience
