ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company that has been operating since 1991 with branches in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Cairns, and Townsville.

We are currently seeking a highly pro-active and technically knowledgeable Works Planning Manager to lead our Sydney Branch through the completion of daily coordination activities and associated Works Planning Management in a full-time capacity. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to take genuine leadership of a region, living in both Business Management and Operational departments to achieve daily branch goals.

You will be responsible for the administrative coordination and operational management of works across the region. This role will see you working closely with Operations Leaders, Administrative Leadership roles and management, while supervising staff and coordinating resources through works planning in partnership with our business management and operations team.

To succeed in this position the ideal candidate will be able to work independently, with great communication skills and meet the following criteria;

Proven works coordination management experience, with the capacity to lead operationally as well as administratively

The ability to problem solve with strong diagnostic skills

An independent administrative ability, comfortable operating without close day-to-day oversight

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, technicians and business management to coordinate people, resources and works.

High attention to detail

Positive attitude and approach to challenges

Hold a Trade qualification, with practical trade experience in materials handling/service industry advantageous
