About the Role
We are seeking an Appian Application Engineer to join a growing Brisbane-based team supporting enterprise client projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work across complex integration environments, delivering scalable, low-code solutions using the Appian platform.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build applications, connect systems, and deliver high-quality outcomes for major clients while continuing to grow your technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Appian applications including process models,
interfaces and records.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, technical solutions.
- Support system integrations using REST APIs and database connections (SQL Server).
- Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users.
- Execute testing and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide updates on project progress, risks and issues.
- Identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.
- Stay up to date with Appian advancements and industry best practice.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years’ experience in Appian or low-code development environments.
- Appian certification (Associate level or higher).
- Strong knowledge of Appian components including interfaces, records and process models.
- Solid database knowledge (SQL Server preferred).
- Experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Exposure to Java, SQL or scripting languages (desirable).
