POSITION: Assistant Accountant Intern

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:

The company is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant Intern to join its team for a 3-month internship. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic accounting workplace. You will have the opportunity to work closely with its experienced team and gain valuable skills and knowledge in various aspects of accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assisting with ledger entry and bookkeeping tasks
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Assisting with BAS lodgement and other tax-related tasks
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Conducting research and analysis to support decision-making
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices




- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
