Position: Assistant Accountant Intern - Internship - Phillip, ACT Area

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients team on a contract basis. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and report generation
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Help with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement ideas
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:





- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance knowledge is a plus
