Job Description:

- Manage Prod, Non-prod & DR (Standby/cascaded standby) databases on RAC and Exadata
- Troubleshoot Oracle Real Application Cluster issues
- Configuringand troubleshoot Dataguard issues
- Manage databases on VCS and troubleshoot VCS cluster issues
- Setup and troubleshoot Oracle Replication
- Configure and manage oracle wallet
- Manage database Back Up, Restore, Recovery, Update statistics, Rebuilding and Reorganizing indexes, Defrag Tables, Replication, partitioning, Database Maintenance Plan.
- Monitoring Instances, Configuring and Enabling alerts using OEM
- Set up Privileged Access Management reports in OEM
- Query optimization and performance tuning. Experience in using SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Performance Monitor.
- Expertise in at least 1 scripting language (Shell/ Perl)
- Robust Communication & Management skills and expertise in Onsite/offshore and Client coordination
- Providing 24X7 Support and maintenance to all the Database Instances on 11g,12c (Container Database-CDB & PDB), 19c.

- Respond and Troubleshoot database related problems reported by customers.
- Automate the routine tasks.
- Provide Rotational On call support.
- Preparing Knowledge articles and sharing with the team on day-to-day activities
- RDBMS S/W installation, database server builds, applying patches, upgrading, configuring, trouble shooting of Oracle 12c, 19c

Required Skills and Competencies:

- Essential:
- Minimum of 8 years of Database Design experience and 10 years of Oracle product consulting skills

- Preferred:

- Proficiency levels:Beginner (B), Advanced (A), Expert (E)

- Additional Skills:

- Oracle RAC and ASM including Engineered Systems (i.e., Exadata) (E)
- Partitioning (E)
- Dataguard (E)
- OEM (E)
