Senior Business Analyst - AML Reform / Fenergo

We are partnering with aleading financial services firm with a strong presence in Australia, currently undergoing a number of key regulatory and transformation initiatives across its institutional business.

As part of this, they are seeking aSenior Business Analyst to join on an initial 6-month contract, supporting a high-impact AML reform and financial crime program within a complex, regulated environment.

This is a hands-on role with strong stakeholder exposure, sitting across compliance, operations, and technology teams, focused on delivering meaningful improvements across AML processes and client lifecycle workflows.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 + years BA experience working on AML and KYC programs, coupled with strong Process Mapping, UAT , Data Mapping plus Fenergo system expsosure would be ideal

You will play a key role in driving AML-related initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to analyse, design, and implement improved processes and controls.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leadingprocess mapping and gap analysis across AML/CTF frameworks
- Translating regulatory requirements intopractical business and operational solutions
- Supporting the implementation and optimisation ofKYC/onboarding systems (e.g. Fenergo)




- Engaging with stakeholders acrosscompliance, risk, operations, and technology
- ProvidingSME-level input , including validation and sign-off on key deliverables
- Identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements acrossclient onboarding and lifecycle processes
- Producing clear, structured documentation aligned to regulatory standards

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Strong experience as aBusiness Analyst within AML / Financial Crime / Compliance programs
- Exposure toinstitutional financial services environments (custody, corporate trust, banking or similar)
- Proven experience deliveringregulatory change and transformation initiatives
- Experience withclient onboarding / KYC systems (Fenergo highly regarded)
- Ability to engage confidently withsenior stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail with a focus on compliance and accuracy
