We're seeking a Senior Developer (AI-Native) to help accelerate delivery of our Operational Manufacturing Platform (OMP), a cloud-based software platform supporting production planning, work order management, inventory control, asset utilisation and operational reporting.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building new features, enhancing existing systems and improving development efficiency through the practical use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and QA teams to deliver roadmap initiatives, reduce technical debt and help embed modern development practices across the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver new platform capabilities
- Maintain and enhance existing applications and services
- Write clean, scalable and maintainable code
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews and delivery activities
- Identify and address technical debt and delivery bottlenecks
- Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes and tooling
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
- Share AI-driven development practices with the broader engineering team
- Help improve delivery velocity while maintaining engineering standards
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 6+ years software development experience
- Experience working within established codebases and managing technical debt
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes in Agile environments
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional setting
We're looking for a developer who can demonstrate how AI-assisted development has improved speed, quality or productivity on real projects, while also understanding the limitations and risks of AI-generated code.
