As a Cook you will be a keen and reliable employeewith excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition. You will beresponsible for cooking fresh and nutritious meals and enhancing residents'dining experience by ensuring and maintaining a personalised andcustomer-focused approach whilst adhering to food safety practices andregulations.

Your Contribution

- Preparationof meals for Aged Care Residents that meets within the residential agedcare setting;
- Ensuringall dietary concerns are accommodated;
- Preparationof texture modified diets, supplements and an awareness of allergens/intolerances;
- Ensuringthat services are provided are in accordance with the Fresh HopeCommunities Food Safety Program;
- Updatingresident dietary information/records;
- Efficientstock control.

The Essentials

- MinimumCert III in Commercial Cookery / Hospitality or equivalent;




- Excellentknowledge and understanding of Food Safety Standards;
- Completionof a HACCP course is desirable;
- A goodinsight into the health, social or aged care services industries isdesirable;
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills along with customer serviceskills;
- Experiencein the Aged Care Industry is desirable;
- Basicunderstanding of MS Office Suite;
- Acurrent Criminal History Check (within the last three years) suitable foraged care or willing to obtain
