Located within the State-of-the-Art Westmead Health Precinct, this role is a part of the dedicated Brain Injury Unit based at Westmead, we pride ourselves in delivering specialised care to patients with complex neurological conditions. What you’ll be doing

As a Registered Nurse in our team you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting clients and families through their rehabilitation journey, you will be required to deliver high-quality nursing care while supporting patients and families through their recovery journey in a fast-paced clinical setting.

In this role you will be:

- Providing person-centred care tailored to individual patient needs.




- Assessing, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior staff and students.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Current authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

- Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
- Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
