About the Role
As a Compliance Manager – NDIS, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, providing essential support to NDIS providers and auditors. This role combines technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance standards. You will work closely with providers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the overall compliance function of the NDIS team
- Liaise with the regulatory authorities as required; JASANZ and NDIS Commission
- Foster consistency of the technical review function by overseeing the program
- Support clients and auditors by answering compliance queries
- Responsible for the onboarding of new auditors and ongoing training of existing team members
- Manage accreditation activities including witnessing and internal auditing
- Support the auditor performance management program
- Maintain updated knowledge of the scheme and distribute the information as required
- Assist in preparing for JASANZ accreditation audits
- Review the completeness and quality of audit reporting by conducting technical reviews
- Liaise with the Operations team members to implement improvements
- Assisting with reporting tasks or fulfilling other administration duties as needed
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a compliance-related role within the NDIS framework
- Working knowledge of NDIS certification, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- A great communicator with a friendly personality – we're a people business
- Someone who thrives on detailed work; accuracy is vitally important
- Methodical; someone who can work through volume in a logical manner
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Fast learner who is comfortable using different pieces of technology
- Salesforce and Outlook experience is highly regarded but not essential
- A self-starter with the ability to manage their own time
- Someone who fosters others’ success
