Salary: $82,500 Annually Plus Superannuation

Job Description

- Manufacture and repair metal products using various welding techniques
- Be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine the job requirements
- Select, prep and clean metal
- Use hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines to cut marked out metal and shapes
- Use hand and machine tools to shape or bend metal and pipes by heating or hammering
- Using measuring instruments and or hand tools to align parts to be joined
- Use various welding techniques, bolting and riveting to join metal sections
- Inspect welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
- Complete products by cleaning, polishing, filing and cleaning in acidic solutions
- File, Chisel and or grind welds to clean or make smooth
