About the Department

The Department of the Legislative Council provides innovative, professional, and apolitical services to support elected representatives and the democratic process.

Responsibilities

- Drive digital innovation and streamline processes to keep the Legislative Council connected and efficient.
- Design and implement digital solutions to improve workflows and enhance departmental services.
- Manage and update content across the Department’s website and intranet, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Support staff in adopting and using digital systems effectively, including creating forms and internal communication tools.
- Analyse data and prepare reports and dashboards to enable evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Oversee records management systems and provide guidance on related policies and processes.

- Experience delivering digital solutions and driving business improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, proficiency in digital platforms and data analysis tools.
- Clear communication and solid relationship building across diverse teams.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
