Job Description:

The Cloud SME (Azure + AWS) is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. This role provides deep technical expertise, supports cloud architecture decisions, ensures best practices, and works closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a technical expert and advisor for Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Support cloud migrations from on-premises to Azure/AWS
- Manage cloud networking, compute, storage, and security services
- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and reliability
- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance, and best practices
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues




- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams
- Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and SOPs.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Azure Backup and Site Recovery

AWS Skills

- EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS
- Load Balancers (ALB/ELB), Auto Scaling
- Security Groups, NACLs

Other Technical Skills

- Cloud security best practices
- Identity and access management
- Backup, DR, and high availability design
- Cost management and optimization
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
