We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our team inMackay.This role is a for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail. You willbeself-motivated and adaptable as the job requires.

What your day to day looks like:

- Buildand reconditioning driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
- Machineof driveline components.
- Assemble, welding, and balancing of driveshafts.
- Generalworkshop duties asrequired.

Skills and experience:

- Well-developed fitting andmachiningskills obtained in a workshop environment.




- Have a sound mechanical aptitudeand knowledge.
- Experience operating manual lathesand welding equipment is essential.
- Demonstratea high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
- The abilitytoparticipatein ongoing training and be open tonew ideas.
- Proven safety and quality focus&performassigned; duties in a secure and responsible mannerin accordance withCompany's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- A willingnessto work as part of a team, and do whatever isrequired, to help achieve business targets.
