At Musson, the workshop is an integral part of our Queen Victoria Building boutique. Clients can see our jewellers at work, tour the workshop and experience the craftsmanship behind how their jewellery is made.

Our jewellers work from naturally lit benches overlooking Sydney Town Hall, creating jewellery within one of Sydney’s most iconic heritage buildings.

For over 50 years, Musson has designed and handcrafted fine jewellery in Sydney. Today, our in-house workshop creates bespoke commissions, engagement rings, remodelling, repairs, high jewellery and signature collections using gold, platinum, natural diamonds and precious gemstones.

The Opportunity

As Musson continues to grow, we are expanding our workshop team.

We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced senior manufacturing jewellers. However, with capacity to appoint more than one person, we welcome applications from skilled jewellers across a range of experience levels.

Working alongside our experienced jewellers, designers, setters and production team, you will manufacture, assemble and finish jewellery to exacting standards.

The quality of construction and finish expected is extremely high. This opportunity will suit a jeweller who values precision, takes genuine pride in their workmanship and understands that the smallest details matter.

Your Role

- Manufacture, assemble and finish fine jewellery.
- Work across bespoke, bridal, remodelling, repair, collection and high jewellery.
- Interpret designs and resolve technical challenges throughout manufacture.
- Collaborate with designers, setters and the production team.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy,



consistency and finish of your work.
- Contribute to a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

About You

- Experience manufacturing fine jewellery.
- Strong bench skills across gold and platinum.
- The ability to achieve an extremely high standard of construction and finish.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in your craft.
- Able to work independently and contribute to a collaborative workshop.
- A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing your skills.
- Stone-setting experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Five or more years of experience is preferred for senior positions, but we encourage applications from jewellers at different stages of their careers.
