With a focus on delivering authentic dishes that transport diners to the heart of the Middle East, the restaurant is seeking a talented and passionate chef to join their team in Sydney and bring these vibrant culinary traditions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present high-quality dishes rooted in Egyptian and Arabic culinary traditions.

- Design and refine menus to ensure authenticity while incorporating innovative ideas.

- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency.

- Source, select, and manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and compliance with Australian food standards.

- Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain excellence in preparation and service.

- Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations at all times.

- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal and promotional menu offerings.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a chef specializing in Egyptian and/or Arabic cuisine.

- In-depth knowledge of traditional recipes, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.

- Experience in managing a professional kitchen,



including staff supervision and inventory control.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Flexibility to adapt recipes and techniques to local preferences while staying true to cultural authenticity.

- A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.

- Previous international work experience is a plus.

- English language proficiency (basic communication skills at minimum).

- The candidate should be willing to relocate to Australia
