Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Designer to join our team in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

- Provide day to day design services to a dedicated project or suite of projects
- Ensure deliverables are presentable and accurate and are consistency checked
- Under supervision is mainly engaged in making technical design drawings involving originality of thought which requires the exercise of judgment and skill
- Readily takes ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on a project

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ design engineering related experience in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and/or civil design
- Relevant recognised qualifications preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards commensurate with experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modelling commensurate with experience
- Valuable interpersonal skills with an ability to demonstrate team working skills
- Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
