Commercial / Capital Markets Lawyer - Sydney

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a small yet leading team in Sydney. In this role, you will play a key part in advising clients on a broad range of capital markets transactions, working alongside a team of talented lawyers and industry experts.

About You

- Experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team, specialising in capital markets transactions (equity offerings, debt capital raisings, derivatives, etc.) would be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulatory framework.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.




- Experience working in a team environment and a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with public M&A; transactions or ECM transactions will be highly regarded.
- Proficiency in legal document management systems and relevant legal research databases.
- Strong understanding of current market trends and developments in the capital markets sector.
