We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our QLD/SA Commercial team, supporting the delivery of Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm from our Brisbane head office.

Carmody’s Hill is a 256MW utility-scale wind farm located in South Australia’s Mid North region, approximately 180km north of Adelaide, comprising 42 wind turbines.

Based in Brisbane, you will support the Senior Commercial Manager and project team across the administration and management of project contracts. This is an opportunity to play an significant role in the commercial delivery of a major renewable energy project, working closely with project, procurement and commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the administration of head and downstream contracts, including contractual correspondence, notices, registers, variations, claims and payment processes.
- Manage day-to-day subcontract administration, including subcontractor meetings, instructions, variation requests, payment schedules and maintaining accurate delay, variation and claim registers.
- Support procurement and tendering activities, including subcontractor pre-qualification, tender evaluations, procurement reporting and preparation of contract documentation.
- Assist with cost management and reporting, including BOQ management, re-measures, cost forecasting, earned value, cost controls and maintaining accurate project commercial records.
- Support the Senior Contracts Administrator and Commercial Manager with progress claims, variation submissions, month-end reporting, contract close-out and the identification and escalation of commercial risks.

Profile description:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a similar tertiary qualification.
- 3+ years’ experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role, ideally within civil construction and maintenance.
- Understanding of construction contracts,



subcontract administration, procurement, contractual mechanisms and commercial obligations.
- Experience with quantification and costing, including interpreting drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Sound commercial acumen, strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a project team.
