In this role, you will lead Indigenous employment initiatives that shape outcomes across the University. You will build programs, partnerships and capability that strengthen recruitment,retentionand leadership for Indigenous staff, with scope to broaden your impact over time.

What you will deliver:

Lead implementation ofMurmukDjerringand the Indigenous Employment Framework initiatives across the University.

Design,coordinateand continuously improve Indigenous Employment Programs that support recruitment,retentionand career development.

Partner with HR and leaders to embed culturally safe, inclusive employment practices and build organisational capability.

Grow program participation and pathways for Indigenous staff, ensuring robust stakeholder relationships and measurable outcomes.

Monitor performance, manage risks, and provide high-quality reports,briefingsand insights to inform strategy.

You may be a great fit if you:





Bring experience leading complex programs in HR, employment,workforceor organisational development within large organisations.

Deliver proven outcomes in recruitment,retentionand professional development, ideally supporting Indigenous or equity-focused initiatives.

Possess deep understanding of factors influencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment and career progression.

Providehigh-level advice and capability building for HR and senior stakeholders on culturally safe employment practices.

Manage end-to-end program delivery, including planning, implementation, evaluation,complianceand reporting in complex settings.

Produce clear reports, briefings and presentations, and balance competing priorities whilemaintainingstrong relationships.
