A day in the life… An exciting opportunity for a casual Broadcast Designer to join the Sydney News Graphics team servicing the News and Public Affairs programs. You’ll be reporting to the Network Art Director & Broadcast Graphics Manager and be based in our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney. Please note that this is a casual position on a rotating roster, which may include early mornings, weekends, night shifts and public holidays, including Christmas and Good Friday.

More specifically, you will be:

- Creating high-quality motion graphics and visual content across Sunrise, The Morning Show and 7NEWS bulletins.
- Designing a wide range of on-air graphics, including story graphics, explainers, maps, studio screens and other broadcast graphics.
- Working closely with editors, producers, journalists and the wider graphics team to turn editorial briefs into clear, engaging and visually strong graphics.




- Working within established show branding and style guidelines while bringing creative ideas and solutions to each brief.
- Managing multiple graphics requests and competing priorities while working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, live news environment.

Qualifications

- Qualification(s) in graphic design, motion design, or related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in motion design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- 3D Animation experience in Cinema 4D, Redshift (desirable).
- Experience preparing design artwork for print production (desirable).
