Enemix have partnered with one of Australia's leading independent power producers, seeking their next hire to become the pillar of their Data Engineering functions. We’re looking for a Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and governance of data systems that power real-time decision-making and operational excellence across a growing suite of energy market applications.

The role

- Own and maintain core SQL Server databases used in production-critical environments.

- Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines for energy market and telemetry data.

- Define and enforce best practices for schema versioning,



data lifecycle management, and access patterns.

- Mentor junior team members and champion contemporary data tooling and governance practices.

What you'll bring
- 3+ years in data engineering roles, with hands-on experience in operations-critical environments.

- Background in the energy sector or real-time operations.

- Deep expertise in SQL and Python, with a strong grasp of scalable data architecture.

- Familiarity with containerisation (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).

- A proactive mindset and passion for software and data quality.
