The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to build a technical function from the ground up. You'll be the go-to technical expert for our Australian customers and service team, the key liaison with our global Head Office on all product matters, and the driving force behind lifting our team's capability through structured training. What You'll Do

- Be the primary technical contact with Head Office, following product issues through from first report to full resolution.

- Provide hands-on and remote technical support to customers and our service team - troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair guidance.

- Manage the certification process for current products entering the Australian market, working closely with certification bodies and Head Office.

- Design and deliver training - from internal service team upskilling to customer training sessions, including for major national accounts.

- Support new product evaluations, feeding local market and compliance insights back to Head Office.





- Track field issues and drive product improvement feedback through to our engineering teams.

- Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and troubleshooting resources.

- Partner with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to keep customers moving and issues resolved quickly.

What You'll Bring

- Solid technical background in mobile plant, heavy equipment, or aerial work platforms (or similar mechanical/hydraulic/electrical machinery).

- Experience providing technical support, field service, or training in an equipment or industrial setting.

- Confidence liaising with overseas Head Office teams and working across language and cultural contexts.

- A natural trainer - someone who can break down technical concepts for both customers and internal teams.

- Strong problem-solving instincts and the initiative to work independently in a growing business.

- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Australian states as required.
