About the position

Council’s Corporate CommunicationDepartment is looking for an Internal Communications Officer.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Develop and deliver internal communications - creating engaging, timely and accessible content across internal channels including organisation updates and staff campaigns
- Write and finalise speech and presentation content for senior leaders and executive management
- Create communication plans and strategies to support internal business unit

About you

- A confident and engaging communicator with exceptional writing skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience or understanding of the development of communications strategies.
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in journalism, media, public relations or similar field.

This position is aBand 6currently remunerated at$100,338.66per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
