Salary: $80,000 ($75,000 - $85,000)

Superannuation: 12.00%

Hours per week: 38 hours

Category: Full Time / Permanent

Days/Timings: To be discussed including weekends - Saturday and Sunday

DUTIES, TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

“Desi Dude Men’s Hair Salon” is a professional beauty salon and hence requires Salon Manager who is qualified, professional and experienced in management and operations of the business. The manager should be the overall in-charge of the salon. Manager has total control over the products and services offered and also the manager is responsible for the staff issues. Simply the manager is the chief of the Salon.





The duties and responsibilities of the SALON MANAGER are as follows:

- Manager is responsible for productive profitable running of the hair salon,
- Responsible for the company’s vision, mission and future plans,
- Manage financial records of the business
- Manager is responsible for researching and keeping the salon styles, techniques and services up to date and at par with the other local salons.
- Hiring and Training staff in order to give the best service to the clients.
- Manager is the in-charge and must handle the staff such as stylists, receptionist and apprentices etc.,
- Responsible for maintaining the paperwork for payroll of the staff and other business financial transactions
- Responsible for advertisement of the business
- Sell the hair salon products by giving special offers and promotions.
- Deal with Customer Services and have to constantly review client service standards. Attend the grievances and complaints of the customers
- Salon cleanliness and maintenance
- Adhere to the business policies and procedures
- Staff grievances and complaints
- Liaise with other businesses for purchase and sale of salon products
- Follow Health and Safety procedure and rules.

Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, study and experience:

- Education: Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma
- Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR
- Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience
- Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
