About the Employer
JNS Diesel Contracting are currently seeking heavy diesel mechanics to join our talented and friendly team of fitters for mine sites roles. We are a small rural diesel maintenance company situated in Cloncurry, North West Queensland.
About the Candidate
The successful applicant will need to be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who possesses the following attributes and abilities:
- Acceptable trade certificates include Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic
- Sound knowledge in Diagnostics, repair and maintenance, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs
- Sound knowledge of all general servicing tasks
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Maintain quality and urgency in the work performed
- Maintain a high degree of safety
- Current Drivers Licence (HR licence an advantage)
- Able to pass a mine site medical
- Trade Certificate
- 3 current work referees
- Drivers Licence
You must be able have clean and sober habits and willing to undertake a medical health clearance, police check and currently live in Australia.
