Homes & Granny Flats is a rapidly growing residential construction business delivering homes, granny flats and modular buildings.

We're looking for an experienced Safety + Project Coordinator with construction experience to join our Wetherill Park team.

This newly created role provides support across project coordination, WHS, construction compliance, approvals and day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with many stakeholders including the Pre Approvals and Compliance Manager, Site Supervisors, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and the construction teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safety & WHS

Coordinate and maintain WHS documentation across construction sites, the factories and head office.

Manage subcontractor safety compliance, including SWMS, White Cards, licences, insurances and certifications.

Maintain registers for incidents, hazards, inspections and corrective actions.

Follow up outstanding safety actions with Site Supervisors, Project Managers and subcontractors.

Coordinate toolbox talks, safety meetings and WHS documentation.

Assist with incident and near-miss reporting, WHS audits and corrective actions.

Monitor safety licences, plant inspections and compliance certificates.

Monitor expiry dates for licences, plant inspections, safety equipment and compliance certificates.





Assist with WHS audits and maintain accurate records.

Support the development of a positive safety culture across sites, factory and office operations.

Construction & Project Coordination

Coordinate Occupation Certificate (OC) documentation and builder compliance certificates.

Liaise with engineers, consultants and certifiers to obtain required documentation.

Track approvals, certificates and compliance requirements through to completion.

Assist with ensuring projects are ready for handover from a compliance perspective.

Operations Support

Assist the Operations Manager with scheduling and day-to-day operational requirements.

Coordinate information between the factory, construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors.

Assist with manufacturing, delivery and installation scheduling.

Maintain project information within CRM and project management systems.

Help monitor project status and identify potential delays.

About You

We're looking for someone who keeps things organised, follows things through and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous project coordination experience within construction.

Experience with WHS administration or construction safety coordination.





Strong understanding of construction documentation and processes.

Confidence dealing with subcontractors, site teams, consultants and suppliers.

Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-up skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Strong communication, computer and problem-solving skills.

A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.

You’ll Stand Out If You Have

Experience with Occupation Certificates or construction approvals.

Experience coordinating subcontractor compliance.

WHS compliance experience

Construction project management software or CRM experience.

White Card.

WHS, construction or project administration qualifications.
