Looking for that step up into credit analysis? Want to join one of Australia’s fastest growing lending businesses?

A well-established and trusted non-bank lender is expanding its credit team due to strong organic growth. With record months in settlements, this non-bank lender is known for their competitive edge in the market. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in banking, lending, or loan processing who is keen to develop deep expertise in credit risk and decisioning.

If you enjoy working with numbers, can confidently interpret financial information, and are curious about how risk appetite translates into real lending decisions, this role offers a solid pathway into a long-term credit career. You will also work towards a delegated credit decisioning authority (DLA/DCA).

About the role:

- Assess a variety of home loan applications from both direct and broker channels through to approval
- Analyse borrower financials including income, expenses, assets and liabilities
- Develop an understanding of credit risk, policy intent, and risk appetite, and how these apply to individual loan scenarios
- Identify key risks and mitigating factors, escalating and recommending outcomes where appropriate
- Prepare clear, well-reasoned credit assessments and recommendations

- Work closely with brokers, BDMs, and internal stakeholders to support quality lending outcomes
- Build knowledge of regulatory requirements and market trends, contributing to continuous improvement of credit processes

What we’re looking for:

- Experience in banking, lending, loan processing, credit support, or a related financial services role
- Strong numerical literacy, attention to detail and confidence working with financial data
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to home lending is highly regarded
- A degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field is desirable but not essential
- Energy, positivity and a can-do attitude

What’s in it for you?

- A welcoming, supportive and sociable team environment
- A busy, fast paced and exciting workflow – dive straight into the world of credit and learn from day one!
- State-of-the-art CBD offices with unmatched perks & benefits

Please note Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required.

This role will move quickly. Submit your CV by Tuesday 20th January 2026 or contact Anita O'Connor at [email protected] to learn more.
