About the role
As a Support Worker, you will provide non-clinical, practical support that helps NDIS participants live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their daily lives. You’ll work across both individual (1:1) and group settings, following care plans and working alongside a close-knit, supportive team.
What you will be doing
• Assisting participants with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meal preparation
- Supporting community access — social activities, appointments, and outings
- Providing emotional support and encouragement, promoting independence and wellbeing, including psychosocial and mental health support
- Maintaining wellbeing, structure, and stability within a 24-hour care model
- Following care plans, maintaining accurate records, and keeping safety front of mind
- Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills
- Working as part of a team that genuinely supports each other
Shift types available
Our 24-hour care model means a range of shifts are on offer.
Shifts times vary between locations.
- Day shifts: 8am – 8pm
- Evening shifts
- Sleepover shifts: afternoon (approx 5pm–10pm), sleep (10pm–6am), and morning (6am–9am) components
- Active overnight shifts

Who we’re looking for
We are seeking experienced Support Workers who bring professionalism and heart to their work. You will be:
- Caring, patient, and emotionally intelligent
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Skilled at building rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Experienced in disability and/or mental health support
- Positive, grounded, and able to create a calm, authentic environment
Mandatory requirements
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Australian work rights
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (with current registration and comprehensive insurance)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) / Equivalent / minimum of 6 months relevant industry experience
- Manual handling certificate (if not completed as part of Certificate III)
Preferred (not mandatory)
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Minimum 6 months of NDIS disability support experience
