Our client is a leading aluminum supplier located in Eastern Creek, we are seeking a Distribution CoOrdinator to join the team. The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the logistics of a fleet of 10 trucks and drivers.

You will be responsible for the ongoing co-ordination of trucks. drivers, maintenance, outsourcing to a third party transport company for any extra runs required. To ensure the safety and efficiency of the crew and their loads.

Managing the administration of customer returns, launching investigations where needed, managing and logging all re deliveries as well as safety checks, weekly toolbox talks, managing any lost or damaged products unfinished runs with continual review and improvement of existing processes to ensure efficiency, minimal error rate and safety.

This role is 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

- Operational Excellence/Cert III Warehouse Operations

- Successful completion of Manual Handling Training





- Successful completion of Load Restraint training

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office & Manhattan SCALE

- Experience leading a team.

- Experience implementing WHS Safety procedures

- Experience working to schedules and lead times to meet customer demand

- Strong & effective communication skills both written and verbal.

- Demonstrated ability to drive change and improvements.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to direct staff.

- Versatile in response to work priorities and issues

- Proactive approach to improving procedures & processes.

- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.

- Developed time management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to use initiative to drive team results
