We’re WIRED Overhead Solutions, part of the Railtrain Holdings Group, and a specialist OHLE design, construction and maintenance business with a proven track record across Australia’s most significant rail projects, including Brisbane Metro, Gold Coast Light Rail, Cross River Rail and Sydney Metro Central. We’re a tight-knit team with a big reputation, and we’re looking for experienced people to help us keep building it. We’re looking for a Draftsperson to join our Brisbane team.

You’ll lead complex OHLE design work across project teams, clients and network operators, delivering solutions that are technically sound, protected and fit for purpose.

Requirements To thrive in this role, you’ll share our values of Quality, Partnerships, Community and People, and bring:

- An engineering tertiary qualification, or a Cert IV/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline




- Demonstrated experience in overhead wiring design with strong knowledge of OHLE systems and rail infrastructure standards
- Knowledge of Queensland Rail Designs & Standards
- Strong technical skills in OHLE design calculations, analyses and simulations
- Proficiency in CAD software and design tools for overhead wiring systems, with a focus on MicroStation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying challenges and delivering practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, network operators and project teams
- A commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance throughout the design and delivery process
