Power Platform Developer – 7 month Contract (potential to extend)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. This role focuses on creating efficient, scalable, and secure applications and workflows that integrate seamlessly across systems, uplift business capability, and improve operational performance.

What you will be doing

- Develop and maintain applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Automate business processes and workflows, integrating with existing data systems and platforms.
- Enhance solutions to improve usability, performance, and functionality.
- Design and implement complex back‑end logic, leveraging APIs, data connections, and cloud services.
- Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform solutions with other systems.
- Manage deployment processes across development, test, and production environments.
- Apply governance standards for solution development and data usage.
- Maintain security roles and permissions, ensuring data privacy through role‑based access controls (RBAC).
- Collaborate with IT teams to meet governance and security requirements.
- Validate data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and optimise solution performance for scalability and maintainability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide training and support to uplift business capability in managing Power Platform solutions.
- Stay current with Power Platform features and best practices.
- Recommend and implement process and tool improvements.

What you will bring





- Proven experience developing Power Apps and automating workflows with Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of API integrations, custom connectors, and cloud data services (Azure, AWS).
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft services and third‑party applications.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex workflows, applications, and data connections.
- Excellent technical communication skills for collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Experience in capability uplift and training for business users.
- Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Software Development, or related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps for change and release management.
