Join our growing team at Arcue, a leading manufacturer and installer of high-quality aluminium doors, windows and skylights for architecturally designed homes.

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Welder to join our production team and work closely under the guidance of our Production Manager.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with at least 3 years’ experience welding and manufacturing aluminium window and door systems, ideally within a premium residential or architectural environment. You’ll be working on bespoke, high-end projects where precision, consistency and attention to detail are essential.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience welding aluminium window and door systems, preferably for premium residential or architectural projects.

- Solid experience with MIG/TIG welding of aluminium and the ability to produce clean, consistent welds.

- Solid understanding of aluminium fabrication, welding techniques, materials and finishing requirements.

- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-end finished products.

- Ability to identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues efficiently.

- Excellent problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously on the workshop floor.

- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and take direction from the Production Manager.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift and everyone contributes as needed.

- Strong commitment to WHS, quality and continuous improvement.

- Current and valid driver’s licence.

- Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and willingness to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

- Weld aluminium window, door and associated architectural components to detailed shop drawings and specifications.

- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

- Produce high-quality,



accurate and consistent aluminium welds with a strong focus on appearance and structural integrity.

- Measure, prepare, fit and position components prior to welding.

- Interpret shop drawings and ensure finished work meets project specifications and required tolerances.

- Inspect your own work throughout the welding and assembly process to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.

- Identify defects, discrepancies or fabrication issues and work with the Production Manager to resolve them.

- Assist with cutting, preparation, assembly and other workshop tasks where required.

- Maintain welding equipment, tools and work areas in clean and safe working condition.

- Assist with packing, loading and organising completed products for delivery and installation.

- Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.

- Occasionally assist with site deliveries or installations if required.
