HR Specialist | Contract (3 Months, View to Permanent) | Melbourne

Medical One, a multi-site primary care group with 13 clinics across VIC, NSW, and SA, is looking for a HR Specialist to join us on an initial 3-month contract – with strong potential to move into a permanent role.

Reporting directly to the COO, you'll be the HR practitioner in the business, owning HR operations end-to-end across all sites: employee/GP contractor lifecycle, award interpretation, and employee relations, while advising Practice Managers and Area Managers directly.

This is a hands-on, standalone role – ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy and doesn't need a team around them to get things done.

What you'll need

- 5+ years' generalist HR experience




- Solid working knowledge of the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (MA000027)
- Experience managing complex ER matters – investigations, show cause, performance management, terminations
- Fair Work Commission experience
- WorkCover and return-to-work experience
- Strong written skills – confident drafting HR correspondence independently
- Extremely organized with high attention to detail

- Healthcare/multi-site experience
- Understanding of GP contractor arrangements
