- Operate SMT production equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform through-hole soldering to IPC standards
- Operate selective soldering and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment
- Carry out PCBA assembly, inspection and rework to a high standard
- Ensure accuracy by self-checking work and minimising errors
- Replenish components and materials, and complete job changeovers smoothly
- Accurately record task times against Production Orders
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work area
- Support minor maintenance activities as required
- Assist with other tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors and managers
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of electronic components and assembly processes
- Background in electronics manufacturing (highly regarded)
- Strong manual dexterity, with the ability to handle small, delicate components
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools and fixtures
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own output
- Experience assembling or inspecting products under a microscope (preferred)
