The Role:

- Assist in the delivery of external financial audits across a broad and diverse client base

- Perform substantive audit testing across assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditure

- Review and document internal controls,



business processes and key risk areas

- Assess control effectiveness and identify deficiencies with clear recommendations

- Draft engagement letters, audit strategies, completion reports and audit findings for management review

- Build strong client relationships while developing commercial understanding across multiple industries

- Work closely with Managers and Partners to strengthen technical, analytical and communication skills

- Local, intrastate and occasional interstate travel as required

About You:

- 2+ years’ Australian external audit experience within public practice

- Strong understanding of audit methodology, accounting standards and financial reporting

- CA/CPA commenced or completed

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues

- High attention to detail with robust analytical and problem-solving capability

- Experience with Caseware or Accurri advantageous but not essential

- Exposure to not-for-profit, construction, banking or professional services sectors beneficial
