About the Role
We are excited to offer an enthusiastic and motivated individual the chance to begin their career by working with qualified educators to support, guide and mentor you and working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
We are also currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Dee Why on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Opportunities for Room Leader positions may also be available for suitable candidates.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has a positive and professional attitude
Demonstrates reliability and flexibility with shifts
Is motivated to learn and complete daily tasks
Enjoys working collaboratively within a team
Has a genuine interest in working with children
Demonstrates a commitment to child safety and inclusion
Applicants must have:
Willingness to enrol in and study towards successful progression to complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and NESA registration
A current and valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certification or willingness to obtain
Current Child Protection training and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain
Current Basic Food Handlers training or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment
Child Safety & Pre-employment Checks
Dee Why Kindergarten is committed to rigorous recruitment, screening, and selection practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in comprehensive pre-employment screening, including:
Verification of Working With Children Check status
Reference checks that specifically address suitability to work with children
Relevant child protection and employment history checks
Additional background screening where required under legislation or organisational policy
All employees are expected to actively contribute to a culture of child safety and participate in ongoing child protection and child-safe practice training.
Any offer of employment is conditional upon satisfactory child-safe screening and compliance documentation.
