Floor Finisher/Installer (Multi Material Exp)

We are seeking passionate and skilled Floor Finishers/Installers to join our dedicated team in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.

- Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old flooring, patching, and levelling as required.

- Ensure proper alignment and installation of flooring materials, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

- Inspect and repair flooring as necessary, ensuring a high-quality finish.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their flooring needs and provide expert recommendations.

- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.

- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on site.

- Adhere to timelines and project specifications to meet deliverable deadlines.

Essential Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in installing and finishing vinyl, carpet, and other flooring materials.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, measuring, cutting, and installing a variety of floor coverings.

- Strong attention to detail with knowledge of Australian safety standards and regulations for floor installation.

- Experience with Carpet, Laminate, Vinyl Plank and Hybrid a must

Desired Experience:





- At least 3 years of experience in flooring installation or related construction work.

- Hands-on experience with a variety of flooring materials and tools.

- Experience running a small crew or mentoring junior installers is a plus.

Salary & Perks:

- Salary: $74,000 - $85,000 annually (AUD)

Visa:

- Sponsored working visa class 482

- 2 year visa, extendable.

Future Benefits:

English level needed:

- An IELTS score of 5,5,5,5 + or equivalent in PTE, OET.
