Flooring Finisher

Job Responsibilities:

- Install, finish, and repair various types of flooring materials such as hardwood, vinyl, laminate, and carpet.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old flooring, leveling subfloors, and ensuring the area is clean and free of debris.
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and accuracy in all installations.
- Apply stains, sealants, and finishes to enhance the appearance and durability of completed flooring projects.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.

Essential Qualifications:

- Recent full-time experience in this line of work. (presently employed)
- Proven experience as a Flooring Finisher with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of various flooring materials and techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for exact cutting and installation.

Desired Experience:

- Experience working on commercial and residential flooring projects.
- Familiarity with different installation methods and tools used in the industry.
- Certifications in flooring installation or finishing techniques are a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: $74,000 - $85,000 per year (AUD)

- Sponsored working visa class 482
- 2 year visa, extendable.
- Floor Finisher 332111 ROL

Future Benefits:

English level needed:

- An IELTS score of 5,5,5,5 + or equivalent in PTE, OET.

Future requirements:

- After a pre-screening interview, If we are interested in connecting you to a client for a work-place interview, then we would first need:
- Proof of Employment
- Video’s showing skill-set/work . (in a google-drive shared folder)
- Passport copy, Showing 1 year + validity
- Police clearance

Financial requirements:

- There is NO show-money needed to be seen by immigration when applying for a working visa to Australia.

Personal requirements:

- Happy, confident, outgoing.
