About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Front End Team Lead with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney, NSW. The position will report to Embedded Software Manager.
The primary focus of the role is to manage and grow a team of 5-6 Embedded API and UI Engineers who are focused on developing and maintaining our Clients Linux based deployed sensors. Working closely with ML/AI, Data Science, RF and infrastructure teams to innovate and enhance Our Clients world leading RF detection technology. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a recent niche but exploding market.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations
Design and develop the current frontend systems to increase functionality and usabilityImplement new software features from concept to delivery, following systems requirement documentsBring experience in testing methodologies and implementationDocumentation of software architecture and processesCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on user and business requirementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members Qualifications, Experience and Skills
BS degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronic Engineer or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experienceAt least 5 years of experience as a Front-End DeveloperMinimum 2 years of experience leading the teamsSolid understanding of JavaScript (ideally React as a framework)Comfortable writing Python or Go (to support the team in API integration) Pay range and compensation package
