The role

As the General Manager, you will lead a national operational and sales group to achieve company goals and objectives. This role requires you to design and execute strategic business plans to maximise company opportunities across all levels of the business. Reporting to an Executive GM, you will set budgets and forecasts, manage company P&L; and present management reports to the executive leadership team.

In addition, you will:

- Identify recent business partnerships to expand the product range

- Work with Brand Managers to manage seasonal stock levels

- Attend international trades shows

- Enhance warehousing functions, supply chain and distribution channels




- ​Monitor competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage

Requirements

To be successful, you must have:
- Proven executive management experience working for an accessories or spare parts provider

- Managed a national dealer or retail network

- Thorough understanding of the wholesale distributor relationship and complexities associated with managing global brands

- Exceptional leadership qualities that will enable you to influence people, culture, and company performance at all levels
- The key to your success will be your ability to devise sales and operational strategies by analysing business and market data.

- Establish yourself in an executive role that offers autonomy and a level of accountability that will allow you to influence company performance directly.
