Associate, Corporate Development
We are partnering with a leading financial services institution to hire an Associate within its Corporate Development & Strategy function. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing in‑house team responsible for end‑to‑end execution of M&A;, divestments, and strategic investments, working directly with senior stakeholders across the business.
You will play a key role in evaluating and executing high‑impact, enterprise‑level transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead end-to-end M&A; and divestment processes, including financial analysis, due diligence, and execution
- Build and own complex financial models to evaluate transactions, including:
- Integrated 3‑statement models
- DCF and valuation analysis
- Accretion/dilution and return metrics
- Conduct strategic and commercial analysis to inform investment decisions
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, and business units
- Prepare investment papers and materials for executive and board‑level decision‑making
- Evaluate market opportunities, partnerships, and inorganic growth initiatives
Required Background
- 3-5 years’ experience in:
- Investment Banking (M&A; / Coverage / Leveraged Finance), or
- Big 4 Transaction Services / Deals, or
- Corporate Development within a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience working on live transactions and financial modelling
Technical Skills
- Advanced financial modelling capability (essential)
- Strong understanding of:
- Valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, transactions)
- M&A; mechanics and deal structuring
- Ability to build models from first principles with minimal supervision
