AIDC Energy Storage Solutions Technical Director/Manager
- Design energy storage solutions for data center (IDC/AIDC) customers, including backup power system architecture, grid-connected/off-grid switching logic, and integration with UPS/HVDC systems. Prepare technical proposals, equipment lists (BOM), and technical tender documentation.
- Lead technical discussions and solution presentations with data center customers. Develop a deep understanding of customer power supply architecture, Tier-level reliability requirements, and backup duration requirements, and deliver tailored energy storage solutions accordingly.
- Support the system design and project delivery of overseas data center energy storage projects, coordinating with R&D;, engineering, and design teams to align technical requirements and finalize technical agreements.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor technology roadmaps in the data center energy storage market. Prepare competitive analysis and market insight reports to provide input for product planning and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in energy storage, data centers, or related solution engineering roles.
- Robust knowledge of typical data center power architectures, including UPS and HVDC systems, backup power strategies, and reliability requirements. Hands‑on experience with data center energy storage projects is required.
- Good understanding of key BESS components, including battery systems, PCS, and EMS, as well as their operating principles and equipment selection criteria.
- Fluent English, with the ability to use English as a working language. Experience communicating with customers and stakeholders on international projects is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
