Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Agricultural Equipment

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a mechanic with hands-on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and related machinery

- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

- Perform engine, transmission, and component repairs

- Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately

- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards

Skills and Experience

- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)





- Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant

- Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

- Ability to diagnose faults and work independently

- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

- Clear communication skills in English

Additional Requirements

- Current Australian drivers licence

- Ability to work in a regional or agricultural environment

- Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns, when required
