Currently operating from our interim location on Hume Highway in Somerton, we are eagerly anticipating the completion of our state-of-the-art dealership in 2028 in Mickleham, which is set to revolutionise the truck sales and service customer experience in Melbourne.
About the role
We are looking for a heavy Vehicle Foreman to join our team in a full-time capacity at our state-of-the-art dealership facility in Somerton. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will collaborate closely with the team, overseeing a sizable workshop of skilled technicians and eager apprentices. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of daily workflows with accuracy and precision.
You will also maintain workshop cleanliness and uphold safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities Maintain a productive working environment within the service workshop and in accordance with policy and procedures
Assist technicians with diagnosis of difficult repairs
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure that all service and repair work is performed to a standard that exceeds our customers’ expectations
Conduct regular toolbox meetings with Service Department staff
Maintain positive relationships with clear lines of communication with other departments.
Assist the Service Manager in encouraging and implementing WHS standards and procedures Skills &
Experience Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with required trade certificate
