Housekeeping Attendant Reports to Park Manager or Community Manager Employment type Casual, part time or full time Direct reports Nil Location Ingenia Holiday Park or Rental Community Portfolio/Department Holidays or Rental Career level Frontline Why this position exists: role purpose This role works as part of a team to create a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by maintaining high housekeeping standards that enhance the overall guest experience. What you’ll do Accountabilities Clean rooms/cabins, common areas and other work areas so that health standards and guest standards are met.

This includes: Carry linen, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies to and from areas to be cleaned Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors using brooms, mops or powered scrubbing and waxing machines

Make beds and tidy rooms

Dust, clean, disinfect and/or polish furniture, fixtures and appliances

Pick up rubbish, empty garbage containers, take to waste areas for removal

Restock supplies in rooms and other areas. Check appliances are in working order and request any repairs needed with Maintenance

Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean and tidy. Assist with stock take. Wash windows, walls, ceilings and other surfaces Report damage, safety risks, theft and found articles to management Any other duties as reasonably assigned by management Challenges and opportunities Work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented role Work in a park or community environment, with varying weather conditions Opportunity for cross-training and learning new roles

Physical requirements of the role include frequent lifting, muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching, frequent walking around the site and up and downstairs

Use of cleaning equipment, products and chemicals, use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks

Comfortable handling unpleasant and confronting messes while maintaining professionalism Relationships Build and maintain relationships with: Park or Community team members; guests, visitors, residents. Current "C" class drivers license (desirable)
